General pricing and changes
Please note that any written price quotes provided or any pricing on the Unison interior website does not include sales tax (if applicable) delivery and installation costs (which can be quoted). The pricing on our website is approximate for each design shown and will naturally vary depending on current material and labor costs. Custom projects are priced based on the information described within the written price quotes Unison interior provides for each custom project or on our website product pages. If the designs evolve in scope, details, or work required beyond the original descriptions – we would need to re-price these changes at that point.
Changing or cancelling your order
Because project design engineering and/or actual production begins shortly after your order is placed, please be aware of the following before placing your order.
If you wish for any reason to cancel your order, you must notify Unison interior within 7 days of the original order date. If Unison interior is given notice of a cancellation within 7 days of the original order date, a refund will be issued in the same tender as your deposit payment. However, if your order has been started by Unison interior or if materials have been purchased specifically for the project, all material and labor expenses (at current shop hourly rate) would be deducted from the deposit payment.
Credit only will be given on any orders that are cancelled for whatever reason after 7 days from the original order date. These later cancellations would be reviewed on a project-by-project basis, based on the amount of work already expended on each project to determine what credit, if any, might be issued. In no case will there be anything but a credit issued for the unused portion of your deposit after 7 days. If you want to make any changes to specifications, materials or details, these would be subject to any appropriate up-charges or reduction in the materials and labor costs involved.
Approvals, delays, and on-site limitations
Customer must carefully review and approve any written descriptions, drawings or finish samples if normally provided with the product they are purchasing. All products will be made to these specifications. Verbal approval by customer shall be considered as a written approval, if customer chooses not to send a written approval back to Unison interior. All lead times quoted are close approximations of the production time required for any given design to ship point. Delays in production time may be caused by slow approval of project drawings or finish samples by customer, unforeseen complications with availability of materials, schedules of any sub contractors, design limitations, etc. and Unison interior can not be held responsible for delays beyond its control. On site assembly or adjustment may be needed on some projects and would be by others locally, unless quoted otherwise. All on site installation of audio, computer, or video equipment, if any, to be by others. All on-site construction, electrical, plumbing, etc. work, if needed, to be by others.
Storage & late balance due
Once a project is ready to ship, the client is notified accordingly. We encourage our clients to inspect their completed projects as we require final payment before shipping. If a client cannot or chooses not to inspect the furniture or products at the Unison interior Studio before shipping, the furniture will be deemed "inspected and approved". In no case, shall Unison interior be responsible for any problems discovered after delivery or any return shipping charges. After 30 days of being notified the project is ready to ship, storage charges will accrue at a rate of .05% of the value of the item per day. Items will be stored at client's own risk. After 30 days, past due balance invoices shall accrue 1.5% monthly interest (18% per annum). After 30 days from notification of completion, if customer is unable to or unwilling to accept shipment of item, Unison interior will have the option to pursue whatever actions deemed necessary to remedy the situation and be compensated for any outstanding balances and storage charges.
Product liability
Unison interior assumes no responsibility once the products have left our Delhi Studio/Work Shop. Unison interior cannot be held responsible for potential problems with products that may occur in the client's home or place of business and is not responsible for any injury, harm or possible death that might occur in these places with the proper or improper use of these products. Neither can Unison interior be responsible for products; such as, but not limited to, wear and tear, expansion and contraction of woods and joinery due to climatic changes, limitation of finish materials in any given situation, choice of materials or design chosen by designer or client, buyer's remorse or any other liability whatsoever resulting from use of the products. As all products are custom made to order, handcrafted and one of a kind, no guarantee is expressed or implied.
Damages in transit
Shipping companies inspect all products before pickup and Unison interior requires them to sign a release that states that the furniture/ Products was picked up in good condition. If your furniture arrives damaged in any way, speak directly with the movers delivering the furniture on the best way to file a claim, as they would be directly responsible. Unison interior will do everything possible to help expedite any damage claims and repairs with the shipper.
Returning your order
As all of our products are either custom built to a client's needs or are custom fabricated to order, all sales are final. If you are not completely satisfied with your purchase, you must notify Unison interior within 7 days of receipt of your furniture. We will do everything possible and within reason to help resolve the problem with any of the items that our company has made.
Showcasing your designs
Unless otherwise requested, Unison interior may choose to showcase your designs on its website as examples of Unison interior that we have made in the past and also offer for sale new versions of these designs to other clients.
